I had my first ever Reiki session with Alysha. I had a wicked migraine and she offered on the spot to do some Reiki with me. I’ve heard a lot of great things over the years from different people in the holistic field and practice-but to be honest I was a little bit skeptical about if I would FEEL a benefit, even though I totally believe in energy. After only a few minutes I broke out into a deep deep cry. I was shocked but started laughing at the same time - such an intense emotional release, which was obviously needed. I felt so cared about. Now I was completely interested! Well that had been done sitting in a chair, now Alysha had me lay down on the massage table and did a full Reiki session. It was peaceful, it was relaxing, it was almost magical. It’s so difficult to describe, but even though she barely touched me, when we were finished, it felt like I had had a full body massage and counselling session all at the same time. I definitely dozed off. My mind was blown. In that moment when we finished I wanted to make it a priority to continue these sessions. Alysha is such an amazing person. So caring and excellent at what she does. I’m not sure how it works, but it doesn’t really matter to me because I trust her and I felt amazing afterwords!
